<p><img style="margin-right: 5px; float: left;" src="/images/aD_Tablets.jpg" width="20%" />Now the focus is on <a href="Adm25.asp?dseq=376">the 10 Commandments</a>. The first three relate to God, the last seven speak to interactions with our neighbor. The first three are: 1) I am the Lord thy God; 2) Thou shall not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; 3) Remember to keep holy the Lord’s Day. The first goes on to specify not having strange gods before Him. Does that mean images and idols or could the strange gods be wealth, business success, ego, clothes, number of friends on Facebook? Things that are not bad in themselves but become temptations if we value them more than God. </p> <p><span style="color: #000080;">Challenge: Take time this Sunday to list what is important in life. What are my real values? Introspection can be life affirming and/or scary. </span></p>
