HighSight: HIGHSIGHT is a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships, tutoring, mentoring and leadership development for students to attend and succeed at private high schools in Chicago. Jail Ministry: Dr. Christie Billups, one of our Lenten speakers, writes to ask Assumption parishioners to consider joining her in another of her ministries, Kolbe House Jail Ministry of the Archdiocese of Chicago. Lay persons work alongside priests and deacons in offering friendship, hope, and spiritual nourishment to the 10,000 men and women in Cook County jails, 1000 in Lake County, and 500 young people in Cook County Juvenile Detention Center. Knit Caps for the Needy: Assumption collects knit caps for the needy each December. Watch for announcements on this website and in the parish bulletin on the annual collection program.

Suppers for the Needy: Assumption hosts suppers for the needy several times a year at the Catholic Charities Facility at 721 N. LaSalle Street. Help is needed to serve these meals from 4:00 PM until 6:15 PM.
