Blessed are the clean of heart, # 6, sounds like it speaks of chastity….which is worth considering!! However, the original verse refers to a singleness of purpose, a zeal to consider others. It, with blessed are the peacemakers (#7), guides us to care for others with zeal and love. Consciously think of God’s love for you. Then, in love, do one thing for someone else. And helping others navigate the many little squabbles of everyday life counts as fulfilling the peacemaker challenge.
