You shall not kill (5). You may think this is a no-brainer because of course regular people don’t go around killing. Once again does the commandment only mean the literal meaning of kill? If you are dismissive or your words crush someone, how might that relate to this commandment? Are you life affirming in your interactions with the people you meet? The good Samaritan had the right idea.

Challenge: Make yourself listen and see! If just one person feels better today because you are in their life you are obeying the fifth commandment and meeting today’s challenge.
